When do I apply for my student visa?
After you receive the confirmation of your enrolment in your chosen university or institution, we suggest you apply for student visas as soon as possible regardless of the due date of your program’s beginning. The reason is the time taken to process your visa.
If you plan to seek or avail of any financial aid (in terms of scholarships and education loans) the visa application should be initiated on the first priority basis as the process can be time-consuming.

Requisites for US Visa
- Enrolment in a recognised educational institution
- Capacity proof to cover course tuition fee, cost of airfares and living costs for you plus your family members for the year of your stay.
- Passport and a few passport size photos valid beyond your period of stay for at least 6 months.
- Evidence of your English language proficiency.
- Students being over 18 years of age is a must.
- Keep in mind that the requirement of a written or documented authorization issued by either the USCIS or OISS is a must for off-campus employment.
- You must possess a clean legal status and an enrolment as a student on an F-1 student visa in the US with a minimum of one academic year for any form of off-campus employment eligibility.
- International pupils can work on-campus up to 20 hours/week or less during the academic terms.
- During the academic break periods including the summertime, International students can work full-time.
