Kent State University, Ohio-average GPA/percentage-IELTS-6-TOEFL-71-GRE-290

Kent State University, Ohio

Dr. Raju's Notes: It is a public/state university located at KENT in the state of Ohio, established in the year 1910.  It is a  large public university roughly accommodates 30000 UG+PG students. If you maintain good GPA and good relationships with professors some part time jobs and fee waivers are possible in subsequent semesters. This university has got tie-ups with some Indian consultants to promote its graduate programs. Of-late, however due to the sudden inflow of students from India, the competition among Indians led to scarcity of funding. Some part-time jobs can always be located which can compensate living expenses.

Final Verdict: If you are rich with the finances-- this is one of the best option for average academic credentials in USA. One can find some part-time job and funding during his course of study. Living expenses will be around 500-600 USD per month only. If you have average academic credentials (65% with not more than 4 backlogs) + IELTS-6/TOEFL-71+ 290 GRE.. this University is going to be a savior. The cost of study will be anywhere close to Max 22-30 lakhs depending upon your willingness to work part-time (if available).

Special Note on Kent State University: In the process of providing information on Universities which are suitable for moderate academic credentials and low GRE scores (285-295)..I am here with providing information on Kent State to student community. Here I don't want to take a stand on whether a particular university is good or bad. Since it may unnecessarily invite some feelings (may be positive or negative) which are unwarranted at this juncture of application and admission (later VISA) process.. The students are advised to thoroughly seek information from the alumni before they initiate the application process of any University which offers an easy admit to the Indian student.
